I really feel for you Katie. I've had the same thing happen to me for 4 years now. I have twins girls that I love dearly but I still look pregnant. People have come up to me several times and asked when I was due and I ran off crying. It's heartbreaking. I was told the surgery was my only option also. Can't afford it so I guess I'm stuck like this for a long time. :(

Thanks soooo much for this blog. I have been in tears so many times over someone asking me about my "pregnancy." I have two sons, 2 1/2 and 10 months (who I love dearly), and it just never stops. I get asked on a weekly basis. My worst one recently was on a trip to an all-inclusive resort in Mexico. One of the resort employees (male) actually had the gall to come up and physically start rubbing my stomach while asking me when the baby was due. This was while I was drinking my mojito. I was too stunned to speak, then I slunk off to a seat to start crying. So much for a nice vacation. I have tried diet and exercise but my Dr. says there may be nothing to do except abdominoplasty costing $10,000. Do you think this is for real or should I find a new Dr.?
